Culture of Care in Animals Research

2nd Panel-Discussion – the fifth R: Responsibility
Transparency and Communication in Animal Research

Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 18 — 20 (CET)
as a Zoom online broadcast
followed by a get-together in breakout rooms

The discussion about animal testing is highly controversial for many years. Research results, new therapies or diagnostic procedures seem to fall from the sky and there are tireless calls for a ban on animal experiments. Hence, taking responsibility is one of the key elements in animal research to balance human interests and animal welfare. We still need to discuss how we can take responsibility in terms of transparency and communication to engage the public and where we need to go.
